The Ayushman Bharat School Health and Wellness Programme (SHWP) represents a significant initiative by the Government of India, targeting the holistic growth and educational success of school-aged children through enhanced health and well-being. This collaborative program involves the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) and the Ministry of Education (MoE), focusing on the training of two designated teachers in each school as Health and Wellness Ambassadors (HWAs). These ambassadors are trained across 11 thematic areas to effectively deliver health promotion and disease prevention messages, utilizing engaging and interactive activities that foster joyful learning.

The SHWP application serves as a user-friendly reporting tool specifically designed for HWAs, developed by the MoHFW. Through this application, HWAs can efficiently document various school-based activities undertaken with students. Furthermore, it facilitates pre- and post-test assessments following a comprehensive five-day training session. The application also functions as a resource center, providing HWAs with easy access to information relevant to the themes encompassed within the SHWP.

• Capability for HWAs to conduct pre-test and post-test assessments during training.
• Option to download training completion certificates.
• Simplified reporting for classroom activities executed with students.
• Ability to upload pictures from classroom sessions.
• Referral functions for HWAs to facilitate need-based referrals of students to nearby public health facilities.
• User-friendly visualization of progress regarding school activities.
• Access to Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials on the 11 thematic modules of the SHWP Curriculum.

It is noteworthy that the SHWP application does not collect any personal data from students, nor is it linked to any external sites, ensuring privacy and data security.
